A local, highly regarded nonprofit is looking to bring on a new accounts payable clerk to their team! This position will be responsible for all A/P, various administrative duties in the Finance Department, filing/paying taxes, setting up and maintaining vendors with accurate classifications, submitting accurate and timely vendor reporting, generating Positive Pay bank uploads, and assisting with preparing the annual audit. This person will also assist the Senior Accountant with payroll and preparing financial data. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of accounting experience, possess good time management skills, take initiative, be detail-oriented and take pride in their work. An accounting degree is not required, but is a plus. Sage Intacct/Paychex experience is a HUGE plus.
